Langstone Harbour. 1913. On a lonely island sits the Oyster House, looking out over murky waters and throbbing tides. When a body is found in the mud, a series of events unfold, against a backdrop of rising tensions and the prospect of war.
A brand-new mystery drama, based on the real Oyster House which stood on the shores of Farlington Marshes for over 130 years. This new in-the-round theatrical experience will tour the communities of Portsmouth and Langstone Harbours in the Spring of 2025.
Creative Harbour CIC and People and Stories have partnered for an exciting new theatre experience, The Oyster House, supported by Portsmouth Creates and Arts Council England.
A People and Stories, and Creative Harbour Touring Network production
